Sea Otters 2009 Calendar. The Sea Otter is native to the North Pacific and is actually the heaviest of all otters. The Sea Otter has been hunted extensively for their fur, but have more recently been legally protected due to their numbers diminishing to around 1,000. Their fur is extremely dense with up to 394,000 hairs per square centimetre! No wonder they never get cold! This is a fantastic calendar featuring this gorgeous mammal.
