Belgian Shepherd Dog 16 Month 2012 Calendar. This is a wonderful large format 16 Month calendar which features the Belgian Shepherd Dog. The Belgian Shepherd Dog comes from a complicated classification of this particular breed which was first devised in 1891 by Professor Adolphe Reul of the Belgian School of Veterinary Science. His field study concluded that there were in total 4 sub-breeds, these being the Groenendael (which is the Belgian Shepherd Dog) the Malinois and Tervueren which are recognised whilst the Tervueren remains unrecognised.
